I think
that in your (crap what are those things called…..) ah yes birthing classes, they should tell you, before your first kid that is,(of course that is when most of us take them) anyyyyhoo, they should tell you to cherish your last days of not being a mother. Not that I want not to be a mother, because I love it, and wouldn’t have it any other way. BUT even when the kid is asleep, or at a babysitter, or your mom’s, you constantly have ‘mom’ running in the back of your brain. It never turns off. Not only do you never get to sleep the same again, but most of your day isn’t the same, even in your mind. And I just think you should really be told how important it will be to you after a particularly screamy day, that pre-mom quiet mind.
